New IFFO RS Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning System boosts standards’ credibility

IFFO RS’ new Monitoring, Evaluations and Learning (MEL) system is now available to be viewed on our website (click here to view).

The MEL system is a useful tool that can be used to demonstrate and improve IFFO RS’s impacts within the global sourcing and production of Marine Ingredients. This will help to boost the standards’ credibility and in turn the credibility of those certified or accepted under the standards programme.

Andrew Jackson, Director at IFFO RS explains “It is important that IFFO RS can demonstrate that as a responsible standard it is contributing to environmental and social improvements. This makes our newly developed MEL programme central to our strategy going forward and should, we hope, in time allow us to become full members of the ISEAL Alliance.”

For more information about the IFFO RS MEL system please visit our website where you will also find the MEL outline document to provide stakeholders and other interested parties with an easily digestible and comprehensive explanation of what the IFFO RS MEL system entails.
